November 2015 - A Planning Application has been submitted!
The Southwark Council website now shows that John Smart Architects has submitted an application on behalf of the new owners, 123 Grove Park Ltd. of St Helier, Jersey.   The reference number is 15/AP/4370. The 21 day consultation period cannot start until we have received formal notices, there is a notice outside 123 and a Press Notice.  None of these events has happened.

As is usual the Council website is somewhat chaotic with some 48 documents to download!  We have therefore downloaded them and put them into a sensible order and made them available for downloading as follows

FEBRUARY 2015 - A NEW BEGINNING!
Citrus seems to have gone and the project is being revamped by John Smart Architects and Bespoke Homes.  In contrast to Citrus, they are consulting local residents before submitting a planning application.  This consultation will be in Grove Chapel from 6.30-9.30pm on 5th. March and 9.30 - 12am on 7th. March 2015.

The project is currently called St. John's Woodland by the architects and the picture below is from their website.

ROUND 2 TO COUNCIL & LOCAL RESIDENTS
Citrus has lost its appeal against the Council.  The Planning Inspector's decision is here. This is not the end.  123 will be developed and we very much hope that Citrus Healthcare will now engage with the community so that the next application will bring a development we will all welcome.

ROUND 2.2 CITRUS HEALTHCARE APPEAL DOCUMENTATION
The Appeal is to be held on 20th. June 2012 at 10am at a venue to be confirmed.
Written submissions have now been made by all parties.  Once again the documentation on the Southwark website leaves much to be desired; it has therefore been sorted out and files amalgamated where practical.

ROUND 2.1 CITRUS HEALTHCARE APPEAL
Southwark Council has asked that the written appeal should become a hearing and this has been accepted.  The letter stating this is here.  This does not affect the fact that comments have to be in by 23rd. March 2012.  The date of this public hearing has not been announced.

Citrus Health have also submitted a 'Biological Record Search';  unfortunately due to copyright restrictions this is not in the public domain.  Our group has however commissioned a similar report from the
Greenspace Information for Greater London which should be available by about 15th. March.  It will be circulated to those who have expressed an interest.

ROUND 2 CITRUS HEALTHCARE APPEAL
The Appeal documents are hereThey consist of the formal appeal document, the Section 106 statement saying what contribution the developer will make to local services if the planning application is accepted and a letter from the Planning Inspectorate setting out the procedure.

Citrus Healthcare has chosen to make the appeal a written one so there will be no public hearings.  They do not appear to have made any concessions in the light of the Council's reasons for rejecting the application

ROUND 1 TO LOCAL RESIDENTS!!

The Planning Application submitted by Citrus Healthcare published on 1st. June 2011 was refused by Southwark Council on 15th. August 2011.  The reasons are given here with the full Officers Report here
